There is no pedagogical approach whose foundations are not supported by a philosophical analysis and structured within the dynamics of how learning processes are nurtured, developed, and structured.
Our philosophical approach is based on socio-constructivism, which starts from an analysis of the student’s reality, focusing on the student as the manager and constructor of their own learning, subsequently becoming the main agent of social change. This is because social experience is key to constructing new knowledge, mediated by exchanges among peers.
In line with this approach, at our educational institution, we aim to strengthen aspects that integrate and consolidate the pillars defining our student profile:
An inclusive education with a global perspective, enabling interconnection with the world through practice-oriented learning.
Centered on the student as the manager of their learning, being aware of the process they must undertake to learn.
Focused on the socio-constructivist pedagogical approach, from this perspective, we aim to develop students capable of reasoning because we are convinced that the best way to resolve conflicts is through social interaction, allowing students to analyze and reflect on their stances in light of others’ positions.
A holistic vision of the student profile: autonomous, critical, creative, and collaborative.
It emphasizes active learning, meaningful construction from experiences, and collaboration among students. It’s an approach that not only prepares students to acquire knowledge but also to apply it effectively in different situations and contexts.
Students actively construct their own knowledge through experiences and reflections.
